The Bible teaches that homosexuality is wrong [Romans 1:24-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10].  Homosexual best describes a practice rather than a person.  People choose to practice homosexuality.  Such a practice is a deviation from what God’s Word teaches regarding physical intimacy.  When Jesus Christ was asked about marital relationships He took His questioners back to the time of creation.  He said in Matthew 19:4-5, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh.  The Christian view on homosexuality is the same as would be held regarding pre marital physical intimacy, bigamy, polygamy, group marriage, and adult marrying a child or a human marrying an animal; they are all sinful behavior.  God limited physical intimacy to the marriage of one man to one woman.  Anything outside of that relationship is outside the boundaries established by God and acceptable to Him [1 Timothy 1:10].
